Hey Reader-

Yes, I realize it's Saturday.

And while I generally don't make it a habit to work on my business or show up in your inbox on the weekend...

...I'm really excited to impart my expertise with you during the Subscriber Strategy training on Tuesday so that you can build connection with your email community.

(And in turn boost boost email engagement & deliverability and increase conversions.)

Also, I also totally nerded out on updating this delightful mushroom-themed slide to explain the confusing email marketing lingo and wanted to share it with you:

Not a ConvertKit user? There's also a slide during the presentation that explains what these terms are called on Mailerlite, Mailchimp, Flodesk, and ActiveCampaign.

It would be my honor to teach you how to build your own subscriber strategy (like the one above) for organizing your subscribers.

(And make the process fun!)

Here are some of the key takeaways from the Subscriber Strategy training:

🍄 Uncover what categories of information you need for your business so that you can properly segment and organize your subscribers

🍄 Incorporate consent so that you’re sending information that people want to hear about while also cultivating trust & connection

🍄 Learn where and how to collect information about your subscribers with the technology you’re already using for your business

🍄 Determine how to name your tags & segments so that there’s clarity about what it all means (instead of wondering if you actually need those seemingly random tags that you’re VA created)

🍄 What information to delete and how to keep things clean and organized moving forward

🍄 The number one segment you should absolutely have so that your new subscribers aren’t inundated with emails

And of course...finally understand the difference between Tags & Segments (and when to use them).

So excited to making tagging and segmentation relatable and FUN during the Subscriber Strategy training! 😊

Best,
Bev

Because I know some folks do better with countdown timers, I've included one below as a visual reminder of when the sale end.

Got questions? Here's some answers.

Q: "When is the training happening?”

The Subscriber Strategy training is happening live on Tuesday, March 19 from 12:30-1:30pm ET / 9:30-10:30am PT.

There will also be two live Q&A / Co-working sessions the following week on Tuesday, March 26 from 2:30-3:30pm ET and Wednesday, March 27 from 10:00-11:00am ET.

Q: "How much does the training cost?"

The training costs $75 USD if you purchase it by the time it goes live. After that the price will go up to $100 USD.

Q: "Will this training be recorded?"

Yes! The training will be recorded. Everyone who purchases the training will have access to it live (if they register beforehand) and the recording a few hours after it’s complete. You'll also get access to the slides, workbook, and AI-generated transcript.

The Q&A portions of the Q&A / Co-working sessions will also be recorded and included with your ticket to the training.

You’ll also get any future updates I make to the training.

Q: "Will I complete my own strategy during the training?"

I recommend dedicating 1-2 hours (in addition to the training) to map out your own subscriber strategy, and depending on where you are with your email marketing tech setup, anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours to setting it up.

Q: "What if I have questions? Do you offer any additional support?"

There will be some Q & A time during the training. Additionally, there will be two live Q & A sessions the following week, and/or you can book a Power Hour for 1:1 strategy support (your email when you sign up for the training includes a link to save $50 on a Power Hour.

Q: "I'm a beginner. Is this training good for people like me?"

Some of the information might be somewhat advanced if you aren’t yet doing email marketing. However, it will help you to get it set up properly when you do so that you can avoid the messes I often see inside of people’s email marketing software.

Q: “Do I need to use any specific tools for this training to apply?”

While some of the lingo I use is more ConvertKit-specific, you don’t need to have a specific email marketing software or any other tools. The strategy & concepts behind what you’ll learn can be applied to any email marketing software that allows you to organize and categorize your subscribers. Additionally, during the training I explain how some of the terminology translates into some other email marketing softwares, including Mailchinp, ActiveCampaign, Flodesk, and Mailerlite.

Have another question you don't see here? You're invited to reply to this email and I'll make an exception and answer it this weekend.
